I am a trauma-informed counsellor well-versed in using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, IFS and Solution-focused therapy in my practice. My passion and experience lies in supporting students, teens and young working adults, equipping them with tools to navigate life's curveballs with confidence. I understand the unique challenges that come with living and working in a multicultural environment. I have worked extensively with a diverse range of clients with the following presenting issues, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, relationship issues, and suicidal ideation (prevention, intervention and safety planning).
I aim to build a solid base of rapport and trust with my clients before using a collaborative approach to support my clients to actively define their therapeutic goals. Every treatment plan is tailored using a person-centred approach, bridging client preferences with therapeutic interventions and leveraging on client's strengths and regular feedback.
I believe that human connection and compassion can work wonders in transforming lives. It is my hope to be a safe support as we explore ways to help you realise positive change and thrive.
